On Sunday December 6, 2009 members and friends of Lakeside Family Church gathered in what will soon be our new sanctuary. There, amidst the construction dust, those gathered there wrote favorite versus of scripture on the floor. These markings are now covered by carpet, but those who worship here will forever be standing on God's Word

At Lakeside Family Church you will discover our passion to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience. From invigorating church services on Sunday to small groups that meet throughout the week to outreach activities, you and your family will find continuous opportunities to connect with others and God.
What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love in people and families through engaging, powerful worship services and small groups. It’s a community of strong, committed families; active children who are actually excited about church; exceptional teenagers growing into empowered adults; devoted friends; and ministry leaders who share their passion for God.
It’s about "now" encounters with God through dynamic praise and worship along with inspiring teaching and preaching, and facing real-life issues with His power.
On September 30, Lakeside Family Church purchased a building & 7 acres of property located at 6999 Red Arrow Hwy. in Stevensvile. This is the answer to many, many years of prayer. We are so grateful for where the Lord has brought us and all that he has done for us both now and over the last 14 years. God is good!
On December 20, 2009 we began worshipping in our new building, even as work continues finishing out offices and classrooms. While we are all very excited over this project we understand that the acquisition of a building is just the means to an end. It is not the end. We want to share the good news about Jesus Christ, be a blessing to our community, and help make our world a better place. It is our sincere belief that this facility will help to accomplish our purpose.
To all our members, we would like to say thank you for your faithful serving, praying and giving. As you know, God uses people and you are the instrument of his blessing. We are humbled that you chose to invest in what is happening at Lakeside. Thanks.
We would also like to thank our Board of Trustees, community leaders, attorneys (yes, we like attorneys! Jesus is even called a defense attorney in 1 John 2:1) banks, realtors, contractors and all the other professionals that made this whole process go so smoothly. And let's not forget about our wonderful architect who is a part of the group mentioned in the previous paragraph! It was/is a pleasure working with each and every one of you.
Finally, we want to encourage you come out and see what God is doing at Lakeside. We'd love to show you around, tell you our stories, and just plain get to know you better, because at our core we're not really interested in building structures, we're into building relationships.
